Photostory: Dangote Trucks Impounded For Smuggling In Ogun

Two Dangote trucks and 23 trailers have been impounded by the Nigeria Customs Service, Ogun 1 Area Command for allegedly smuggling in foreign rice hidden in bags of cement.

The Area Controller, Bamidele Makinde, revealed that the seized Dangote vehicles were not owned by the company but were operated by individuals who transport cement on franchise agreement with the company.
