Photostory:LAMATA Visits Woman Who Gave Birth On BRT

Officials of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority have visited a woman, Mrs. Kubura Oluyemo, who gave birth on a BRT bus while en route from Ikorodu to TBS on Wednesday, April 3.

LAMATA made this known in a post on its X account on Thursday.

The post read, “In a heartwarming display of care, Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority officials led by Head of BRT Operations, Mr. Adepoju Fowokan, visited a woman who recently gave birth on a BRT bus.

“Mrs. Kubura Oluyemo gave birth to a baby girl, named Dayan, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in a BRT from Ikorodu enroute TBS. She disclosed that she was assisted by a nurse who was also riding on the same bus on that day.

“Mr. Fowokan, who visited the Oluyemos along with the Terminal Controller for Agege station, Mr. Sarumi Sheriff, presented the baby gifts on behalf of the Managing Director LAMATA, Mrs. Abimbola Akinajo.

“The delegation presented to the Oluyemo Family a preloaded Cowry card and a cash gift. In return, Mr. and Mrs. Oluyemo expressed gratitude to LAMATA and the Lagos State Government for their show of love.”
