Politics:NNPP To Hold Presidential Rally, Governorship Campaign Flags off In Ibadan Next Tuesday

The Oyo state New Nigeria People’s Party ( NNPP ) says that all arrangements are in place for the party presidential rally and official flag-off of its gubernatorial campaigns.

The NNPP state Publicity Secretary, Mr. Femi Olaitan Hero stated this in a released statement to newsmen on line-up activities for the campaign.

He said the party will commence its campaign on Tuesday 31st January 2023 at
the Obafemi Awolowo stadium, Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

Hero confirmed that the presidential candidate Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and his deputy, Bishop Idahosa with the party National Working Committee and stakeholders of the party will be in Ibadan for the rally and the governorship flag-off.

“I have been directed by the state Chairman of our great party, Sesan Adegbola, to invite NNPP members, party stakeholders, and well-wishers to our party presidential campaign rally and the formal flag-off of state governorship campaign on Tuesday, January 31, in Oyo State,” he said.

The party said that NNPP flags would be presented to all candidates on the occasion.

Meanwhile, the Southwest Zonal leader of the NNPP, Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan, who is the overall leader of the party in Oyo state, has  expressed happiness with efforts and achievements made to position the party state excos and parry leaders in Oyo state

He said the selling point of the party in the forthcoming general elections is the human interest manifesto of the party.

” Next Tuesday, we are flagging off our party governorship campaign officially, thou, we have been busy doing consultations across the state.

” Our party presidential candidate Kwankwaso
and his deputy Bishop Idahosa will be here in Oyo state for the ceremony and also talk to residents about his plans.
