SENATE PRESIDENCY: EMERGENCE OF OSITA IZUNASO ‘LL DETOXIFY PERCEPTION BAGGAGE OF TINUBU’S ADMINISTRATION- PROGRESSIVE PROFESSIONALS

Less than 24 hours before the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly, Lagos-based Community of Progressive Professionals has expressed optimism that Senators-elect would elect Senator Osita Izunaso, the best candidate capable of detoxifying the perception baggage of the new administration.

The Community in a media statement issued in Lagos Monday afternoon said what the country requires now is a National Assembly led by a fresh and untainted personality to purify the perception and outlook of the Tinubu’s government both internally and to the outside world.
In the statement signed by the President of the community, Dr Gafar Bello, detoxifying the perception baggage was in the best interest of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress and Nigeria as a nation.

Dr Bello held that Senator Izunaso is the best among the aspirants and the only face capable of giving the National Assembly and Nigeria a better image and its deserved place in the comity of nations.
” Senator Osita Izunaso is the best material for the position of Senate Presidency.
There is a need to de-toxify the perception baggage of this administration. The emergence of Senator Izunaso as the Senate President would commence the process of detoxifying the perception baggage of this administration.
“It is of utmost importance and in the best interest of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress and Nigeria as a nation.

We are confident that things will turn out well and the Senators-elect vote for the best person for the job. “
