Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli (APC–Oyo South) has congratulated former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Chief Moses Adeyemo, on his emergence as the new Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.

Senator Alli in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Ibadan, described Adeyemo’s  emergence as well-deserved.

The lawmaker said that Adeyemo’s wealth of administrative and political experience, coupled with his longstanding commitment to progressive ideals, would further strengthen the party’s structure and reposition it for greater success across the state.

He expressed confidence that the new chairman’s leadership would promote unity, inclusiveness and renewed commitment among party members.

The lawmaker also congratulated other members of the newly inaugurated State Working Committee, urging them to work collectively with dedication, loyalty and sincerity to advance the vision and aspirations of the party.

Senator Alli equally congratulated the immediate past State Chairman, Pharm. Olayide Moshood Abas, for the successful completion of his tenure.

The lawmaker acknowledged  his remarkable role in sustaining stability within the party during challenging periods.

He noted that Abas enshrined discipline, forthrightness and internal cohesion in the party’s operations, laying a solid foundation that strengthened APC’s unity and organisational growth across Oyo State.

Senator Alli prayed for wisdom, strength and divine guidance for Chief Adeyemo and his team as they assume leadership responsibilities.

He expressed optimism that the party would witness renewed progress and greater electoral victories under their stewardship.
