Senator Alli’s humanitarian efforts touch hearts in Sabo, Ibadan

In a heartfelt demonstration of compassion, Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has distributed food items to the Hausa Community residing in the vibrant Sabo area of Ibadan.

This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen on Monday.

The senator’s team led by his wife, Alhaja Tawakalitu Alli, distributed essential food items, including rice, spaghetti and noodles, to various segments of the community.

Among the beneficiaries are Suya Seller Association; Bureau de Change; Tailoring Association; Electronics and Furniture Seller; Sayyidi Jubirila Islamic 1& 2, Institute Sabo Ibadab, Markza Islamic School and Mallama Tsohuwa Maddarasa.

The distribution is still ongoing as the team would also visit Bodija, Ajibola and other communities yet to be touched during this week.

As the distribution concluded, prayers resonated throughout Sabo, with community members invoking blessings upon Senator Alli and his family.

The lawmaker’s wife said that the distribution of food items was a direct fulfillment of Senator Alli’s promise to support the Hausa Community in Sabo.

She said that the gesture underscored the senator’s commitment to serving all constituents, irrespective of cultural or ethnic backgrounds.

The Sabo Community leaders and residents alike in their separate remarks, lauded Senator Alli for his unwavering dedication to keeping his promises.

Alhaji Yahaya Dauda, the Chairman Electronics and Furniture market Sabo,
described Senator Alli as a beacon of hope in public service through his approach to governance, noting his emphasis on empathy and inclusivity.

Recalling the senator’s tenure as the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, he praised his selfless leadership style, emphasising his consistent advocacy for the welfare of the people.

Hadjia Talatu Suleiman, the Head of
Sayadi Jubirl Islamic Institute, expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the senator’s gesture, acknowledging his genuine concern for the well-being of Sabo residents.

She expressed hope that the senator’s altruistic endeavours would continue to grow, paving the way for even greater impact and influence in the future.

Yau Garba, a tailor at the Sabo market, thanked God for being among the beneficiaries of the palliative from the senator.

Garba appreciated the senator for the support, saying they are optimistic that more would still come from him.

Abdullahi Kyari and Sirajo Garba, appreciated the senator for considering them as beneficiaries of the palliative.

They expressed optimism that senator Alli would excel in life, urging him to bring more development to Sabo community.

In response to the overwhelming gratitude from the community, Senator Alli expressed his deep gratitude and reiterated his commitment to serving with integrity as well as compassion.

The lawmaker emphasised the importance of unity and collaboration in addressing the needs of all constituents, regardless of background or affiliation.
