Seven K+lled In Nasarawa Gunmen Attack

Police operatives have been deployed to provide security in the area and Governor Abdullahi Sule has been slated for visit to the area.

Seven persons have been k+lled in Tatara village of the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State distress after a gunmen attack.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Ramhan Nansel, disclosed that the attack occured on Saturday night.

He said the police received a distress call and upon receipt of the information, the Commissioner of Police, Shetima Mohammed, led a detachment of police operatives to scene where seven corpses were recovered and the assailants trailed forcing them to abandon nine motorcycles.

He added that the Commissioner of Police immediately convened a stakeholders meeting where he condoled with all the affected families and ordered comprehensive investigation into the case
