The reigning African Footballer of the Year, Ademola Lookman, visited President Bola Tinubu at his Lagos residence on Thursday.

The 27-year-old Atalanta forward visited the President with the 2024 Africa Player of The Year CAF award trophy.

Last December, Lookman was crowned Africa’s best in Marrakech, Morocco, taking the award from compatriot Victor Osimhen.

The prize is a recognition of Lookman’s outstanding exploits for the Super Eagles and his club side, Atalanta. His hat-trick at the Europa League final in 2024 gave Atalanta their first European trophy.
