Tribunal sacks Nasarawa Gov, declares PDP’s candidate winner

The governorship election tribunal sitting in Nasarawa has sacked Governor Abdullahi Sule of the APC and declared David Umbugadu of the PDP winner of the march 18, 2023 guber election.

Two out of the three justices, led by Justice Ezekiel Ajayi declared that Governor Abdullahi Sule was not validly elected.

INEC had declared Sule winner of the state governorship election for polling 327,229 votes. PDP’s David Ombugadu polled a total of 184,281 votes.
