The Akinyele Muslim Community today paid congratulatory visit to the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye in his office at the Local Government Council, Moniya.
The Muslim Community led by their Amir, Alhaji Abdulganniyu Abdulwasiu Arowolo while extolling his religious tolerance, Thanked him for Extending Ileya Gifts to the Ummah which they described as first of it’s kind in Akinyele LG
The Amir described the Executive Chairman as a very humble being whose religious tolerance is exceptional. A trait which he believe would turn to a great virtues as he steer the affairs of the Local Government
The Amir Also stated their challenges and also gave ideas on ways to further improve the lives of Residents within the local Government.They also gave assurances of their readiness to work hand in hand with the Executive Chairman and his team for a better Akinyele Local Government.
The Executive Chairman in his response, Appreciated the Akinyele Muslim Community for the visit and assured them of his readiness to make positive impact in office.
The Executive Chairman promised to tackle some of the challenges facing the Muslim community so far they are aimed at the development of the local Government.
Present at the Meeting includes The Head of Local Government Administration, The Director of Administrative and General Services,Director of Finance, The Akinyele Nulge Chairman, The Local Government Information Officer, FOMWAN representatives, Amirs of various Muslim communities among others.
