How Wumi Toriola blows hot, sends warning to critics following her latest interview

Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola has sent warning to critics over her latest interview.

It was reported earlier that Wumi had spoken about reconciling with her ex-husband months after claiming their relationship was over.

Wumi Toriola spoke about her personal life during the Goldroom talk show with her colleague, Iyabo Ojo, disclosing that she would love to have more children, maybe one or two, stating she wants to have them with one man. While hinting at a reconciliation with her ex, Wumi Toriola claimed she would not be speaking more in that regard.

Her post was met with heavy criticism, especially after the allegations her ex made against her.

In a now-deleted post on her Instagram page, Wumi Toriola made them know that she isn’t their mature public figure as she doesn’t drag it.

She noted how trolls sometimes step on the wrong feet and she isn’t the everyday public figure. Sometimes she would ignore it, other times she would react.

Wumi reminded them that she was human as she appreciated them for easing her pain.

“Sometimes, trolls just step on the wrong feet. I am not your everyday public figure. Sometimes, I ignore other times I react… I am also human.
Thank you for easing the pain.

Thank you all and to the “fija folorun ja crew. I listened after 20 minutes.

He has also apologized.

I am not your “mature” public figure, I don’t drag it.

Thank you, beautiful people, nobody will take your peace of mind”.

It is no longer news that Wumi Toriola is a divorcee. The movie star announced her separation from her husband and the father of her son early last year.

The actress while reflecting on 2022, revealed she walked away from a domestic violent and abusive relationship for her sanity’s sake.

Her ex-husband on his part, had something contrary to say, as he claimed that their marriage was filled with violence, deceit, and betrayal on Wumi Toriola’s part. Describing his marriage as a total regret, he further alleged that Wumi physically assaulted his mother.

Addressing his allegations, Wumi Toriola in a lengthy post on her Instagram page debunked the report, stating that she has never been physical with her mother-in-law or her mother and she had witnesses to back her up.

Late last year, in an interview, Wumi revealed how her fame was used against her by her now ex-husband and how he was always threatening her to trap her into their tox!c marriage.

Following her divorce, she has channeled her energy into her son and making movies and is open to being a second wife.
