Popular Nigerian Gospel Singer Aduke Gold Confirmed Dead

Popular Nigerian gospel music artist, Aduke Ajayi, well known as Aduke Gold has been confirmed dead.

The death of the singer was announced on social media by fellow artiste Esther Igbeke.

Igbeke posted a tribute with Aduke Gold’s picture and the caption: “A general has fallen. RIP.”

Aduke Gold, despite being orphaned at four and battling severe vertigo, rose above her struggles to become a shining star in the gospel music industry.

Her breakthrough single, “Nitori 0go” (translated as ‘Because of Glory’), which featured on her popular eight-track album gained wide admiration.

She earned a degree in History and International Relations from Lagos State University and held multiple qualifications in Special Education, Aquaculture, and more. Her passion extended beyond music to working with children with special needs which includes autism, cerebral palsy, and dyslexia.
