Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan involved in fatal accident, two aides die

Former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan was on Wednesday evening involved in an auto crash in the nation’s capital, Abuja which claimed the lives of two his aides.

Confirming the crash, one of his aides said the former Bayelsa State Governor was fine and okay and already in his home.

The accident was said to have occurred when Jonathan was on his way from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to his residence in Abuja.

Jonathan has been all over Africa in recent times discharging his duties as ECOWAS Special Envoy to some troubled West African nations.
