NUJ celebrates Bolatito Joseph as the new FRCN Zonal Director

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Oyo State Council on Tuesday congratulated the new Zonal Director of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (Ibadan Zonal Station), Mrs. Bolatito Joseph.

A statement made available to the media and signed by the State Secretary of Oyo NUJ, Sola Oladapo quoted the Chairman of the Union, Comrade Ademola Babalola as congratulating Mrs Joseph popularly called BJJ on ‘her well deserved promotion, laudable appointment and worthy achievement’.

According to Babalola, “Mrs Bolatito Joseph is a disciplined, principled and thoroughbred professional who had paid her dues in the cause of journalism.

“She is a bridge between the old and the new breed broadcasters who will definitely bring her wealth of experience to bear positively on her new status.

“Unknown to many, the new Zonal Director is a tireless workaholic, talent moulder and enviable mentor to many journalists including him,’ saying “Mrs. Joseph having served variously and meritoriously in a number of management positions, would turn the fortune of the radio stations under her watch to centres of excellence and hub of quality broadcasting media.”

He congratulated his colleagues and other professionals working in the stations under the new Zonal Director like Premier 93.5 FM, Amuludun 99.1 FM, Paramount 94.5 FM, Positive 102.5 FM, Gold 95.5 FM, Progress 105.5 FM, Choice 95.9 FM, among others to expect a new lease of life, capable of turning their lives for the better.

He said the FRCN stations under Joseph are sure of leading national integration, regional cohesion and industrial harmony in a way that’s unprecedented towards making Radio Nigeria truly Africa’s largest network in conventional and digitized broadcast industry.

Babalola then prayed God to guide, guard and protect the new Zonal Director to excel in her current position and deliver on the core values and mandates of the corporation.
