Hon. Akinwole Akinleye Commissions New Classrooms to Enhance Education in Akinyele Local Government

In a significant move to enhance educational infrastructure, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, has commissioned a new block of three classrooms at Sagbe Community Primary School in Sagbe Moniya, Ibadan. This initiative underscores his administration’s commitment to providing quality education to the residents of Akinyele Local Government.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Akinleye highlighted that this project is among several aimed at fulfilling the promises made during his election campaign. Upon assuming office, he prioritized identifying and addressing the most pressing needs of the community.

“Education has always been very dear to the heart of our indefatigable principal, The Fogbontolu, Fogbontoye of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde, and taking a cue from the Omituntun 2.0 Agenda, this sector is one of our priority areas,” Hon. Akinleye stated. He further emphasized the universal recognition of education’s value, citing figures like Lord Brougham, Winston Churchill, and Nelson Mandela to underscore its importance.

He expressed satisfaction with the project’s swift completion, noting, “I am happy that this project that commenced less than two months ago is successfully completed and is being delivered to the beneficiary community today.” Hon. Akinleye reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to timely project execution and addressing the community’s needs.

The Vice Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Sakiru Akintunde, lauded the Executive Chairman for his proactive leadership and dedication to the community’s development. He assured residents of the administration’s ongoing efforts to ensure a safer and more prosperous environment.

Hon. Seun Olufade, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, commended Hon. Akinleye’s significant contributions and pledged his continued support.

Elder Babatunde Tijani (Double T) also praised Hon. Akinleye for honoring his commitments and fostering a sustainable environment for Akinyele residents. He emphasized that Hon. Akinleye’s efforts complement the initiatives of Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, within the local government.

Dr. Nureni Adeniran, the Oyo SUBEB Chairman, who officiated the commissioning, acknowledged Hon. Akinleye’s impactful projects benefiting the Akinyele community. He reiterated the Oyo State Government’s dedication to providing quality education under the leadership of Engr Seyi Makinde.

Other dignitaries, including Hon. Abideen Adeaga, Chairman of OYSCSDA, and Hon. Abiodun Tiamy, Special Adviser to the Governor on Education Intervention, highlighted Hon. Akinleye’s longstanding commitment to the local government’s development. They pledged their support by facilitating further projects in Akinyele Local Government.
