Ogunkojo emerges Oyo new Nigerian Legion Chair, gets new State Officials
…as govt charges them on collaborative efforts in tackling insecurity

Evangelist Julius Ogunkojo has emerged the Chairman of the Nigerian Legion, Oyo State command,
Also, Alhaji Rasheed Oladokun as the Vice Chairman while Mr Adesope Obalowo is the Treasurer.

Speaking at the swearing in ceremony of the new executive council after conducting a hitch-free election across the 33local government areas of the state,
Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Alhaja Kafilat Olayiwola admonished the new executive members to bring their wealth of experiences to bear in tackling the issue of security in their respective areas.

She charged them to cooperate with the state in its bid to secure lives and properties of the citizenry.

She explained that they are to be in helms of the affairs for four year which must be impactful and meaningful to all as they will be call upon at the end of their tenure to give stewardship of their leadership.

The National election observer from the Federal Ministry of Defence, Mr Olusegun Olorunkosebi commended the comportment and maturity displayed by the legionnaires and charged the newly executive members to be transparent and run an all inclusive government so as to hold the trust reposed in them.

Earlier, the newly sworn in chairman of the Nigerian Legion, Oyo State command, Evangelist Julius Ogunkojo appreciated the initiative and the rationale behind the setting up of the south west security network code named “Amotekun”, promised that the command will continue to collaborate with all the security operatives to allow peace to reign in our country especially, the south west states.
