Olopoeyan Felicitates With Muslim Ummah On Eld-El- Kabir Celebration, Urges To Pray For Makinde, Tinubu

Southwest leader of the New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP, Alhaji AbdulRasheed Adebisi Aremu Olopoeyan has joined other eminent Nigerians to facilitate with Muslims across the globe, most especially Muslims in Nigeria and Oyo-State in particular, on the occasion of Eld-Kabir.

Eid Kabir is a Festival of Sacrifice that marks the end of the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca by hundreds of millions of Muslims.

It is usually celebrated with prayers offered on the Eid ground, followed by the slaughter of Ram, Cow, or cattle in commemoration of the Prophet Ibrahim’s readiness to sacrifice his son to show obedience to Allah.

While felicitating with the Muslims in a released statement made available to pressmen before Eld on Wednesday, Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan, fondly called ” Great Leader” advised Muslims in the state to use the period of the Eld-Kabir festival to pray for the Oyo state, and the new administration both at state and national.

He maintained that the smooth running of government in the state and country would result in a good economy with guaranteed security.

He said: ” Let me use this channel it is to remind us of Allah’s expectation for everyone as we mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

” Eid el-Kabir is around to remind us, once again, of how the Almighty usually intervenes to turn a situation of hopelessness into that of hope and happiness. Thus, on this

” It gives us the opportunity and the ability to embrace one another with open hearts, inspire with impressive attitude, and distribute pleasure to all. We must ensure that our hand of love is extended to all around us, most especially to the less privileged.

We must accommodate people with good hearts, live together in love and share with them. May Allah fill our life with blessing, joy, and good health as we live together in peace and unity.

More so, as we eat, and drinks during this Sallah, let us remind to pray for our dear state, Oyo and Nigeria. We need to pray for the return of lost glory both in economy and security.

The new administration of Governor Seyi Makinde and President Bola Tinubu needs our support and prayer to meet our expectations, it is very glaring that they have started on a good note,” Olopoeyan started.
