Ondo Lawmaker Escapes Gunmen Attack.

Hon. Olugbenga Omole, a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, has escaped an alleged assassination attempt on his life.

It was gathered that unknown gunmen attacked the lawmaker, who is representing Akoko Southwest Constituency 1, on Thursday night March 31, in Akure, the state capital.

Confirming the incident to news reporters in Akure, the lawmaker said the gunmen fired multiple shots at his car.

As of the time of filing this report, the Ondo State Police Command, was yet to react to the incident
