Osinbajo, Fayemi pledge to restore lost glory if elected

As the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary draws near, two aspirants, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. John Kayode Feyemi, at the weekend, visited Imo State to interact with the party’s delegates in the state, where they both promised to restore the country’s lost glory, and fix critical sectors of the economy.

Osinbajo, who later paid a courtesy visit to the State Chairman of the Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Emmanuel C. Okeke, later urged the governor and delegates to support his emergence as the party’s presidential candidate.

The vice president, among other things, promised to tackle insecurity; fix education and the economy if elected president.

Fayemi, who addressed journalists after interacting with the party’s delegates, said that Nigerians will not regret having him as their president.

He praised Uzodimma’s “sagacity and antecedents” in piloting the affairs of the state, as well as what he has brought to governance.
