Oyo State Government Extends Warm Welcome to NYSC Corps Members”

Oyo State has officially welcomed the 2024 Batch C Stream 2 Corps Members deployed to the state. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Iseyin, and was attended by dignitaries including the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Miss Wasilat Adegoke, who represented the State Governor.

The Corps Members where congratulated on the success of their academic pursuits and encouraged them to approach their service year with a sense of responsibility, commitment, and selflessness.

The NYSC Oyo State coordinator,Odoba Abel Oche also welcomed the Corps Members, urging them to participate actively in all camp activities, obey instructions, and adhere strictly to the rules and regulations. The orientation program is designed to equip the Corps Members with valuable skills for life after their service year, including leadership training, paramilitary drills, and social activities.

The Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Miss Wasilat Adegoke has been instrumental in promoting youth development and empowerment in Oyo State.

The event was a success, with the Corps Members expressing their gratitude to the state government for the warm reception. The swearing-in ceremony marked the beginning of a three-week orientation program for the Corps Members, and they are expected to contribute meaningfully to the development of Oyo State.
