Senator Alli celebrates ex-Oyo APC chair, Akin Oke at 86

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has felicitated with the former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Chief Akin Oke, on the occasion of his 86th birthday.

This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, and made available to newsmen on Friday in Ibadan.

Senator Alli extolled Chief Oke’s unwavering commitment to democracy and progressive ideals, describing him as a true leader and statesman.

He noted that Chief Oke’s leadership and sacrifices have significantly contributed to the growth and stability of the APC in Oyo State and beyond.

“Chief Akin Oke is a symbol of integrity, wisdom and dedication to good governance.

“His selfless service and steadfastness have continued to inspire many within our party and across the political landscape,” he said.

The lawmaker said that at 86, Chief Oke remained a beacon of hope and an embodiment of progressive leadership.

Senator Alli commended him for his exemplary contributions to politics and governance, emphasising that his wisdom and experience remained invaluable to the development of Oyo State.

He prayed for the celebrant’s continued good health, strength and happiness, wishing him many more years of impactful service to humanity.
