Senator Alli congratulates Florence Ajimobi on Ambassadorial appointment

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC–Oyo South) has congratulated Dr (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi on her well-deserved appointment and deployment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Austria by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This is contained in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Saturday in Ibadan.

Alli described the appointment as a recognition of Dr Ajimobi’s longstanding commitment to public service, humanitarian causes and leadership, noting that her experience would add great value to Nigeria’s diplomatic engagements.

He said the former First Lady of Oyo State distinguished herself through impactful initiatives that positively touched the lives of women, children and vulnerable groups across the state.

The senator noted that the appointment was not only a personal honour to her, but also a proud moment for the people of Oyo State and the entire South-West region.

Alli expressed confidence that her wealth of experience, compassion and dedication would help strengthen Nigeria’s bilateral relations with Austria and advance the country’s interests on the global stage.

He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding Dr Ajimobi worthy of the important diplomatic assignment, describing the decision as a step in the right direction.
The lawmaker prayed that Almighty God would grant her wisdom, strength and good health to discharge the responsibilities of her new office successfully.

Senator Alli wished her a fruitful tenure, expressing optimism that she would make the nation proud through exemplary service and outstanding representation.
